The ability to be anonymous or use a pseudonym has been one of the most important things we have had not just in the age of the internet but in the history of our nation; the Federalist Papers were written under pen names.
But...I do think that if someone is using the cloak of anon. to disseminate false or threatening information that is destructive, or libel statements about someone then the blogger has every right to "out" them if possible.
When you choose to make an anon. comment you take the risk of being unmasked, especially if your intention is to deceive, cause harm or spread false or confidential information.
But outing someone simply because you disagree with them is idiotic. But for each malicious, libelous commenter out there it places our ability to use anonymous comments in jeopardy one way or another.

There are (as some have said) very good reasons to use a pseudonym or anon. identity when commenting or writing a blog, editorial, etc.
But especially on the internet, the expectation of true privacy is almost relinquished by virtue of technology. Even if someone who writes using an assumed identity, they should be prepared to stand behind whatever statements and actions they make using it.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13430685.post-67535280415587980492012-07-05T14:00:33.908-04:002012-07-05T14:00:33.908-04:00well it also appeared in 2010 as well and its not ...well it also appeared in 2010 as well and its not impossible as well :)Nick Simardhttp://www.inspiriamedia.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13430685.post-48902548483420069452012-01-13T00:50:38.506-05:002012-01-13T00:50:38.506-05:00That is so true. I disagree with people talking about excessive diving in soccer, because like you mentioned, it happens in every sport.

Here is my biggest reason for disliking soccer:

It's just so boring to watch. Playing is kinda fun, but watching a whole 90 minute game is torture. I went to an MLS game once, and this is what convinced me it's boring-At the end of the game, it ended in a 0-0 tie, one team with 2 shots on goal, the other with 4. How am I supposed to watch a sport for 90 minutes without any action? All I see is them passing to each other. That's all it is. The ball's always in the neutral zone, and there are few attempts (and successes) at actually putting the ball in the back of the net.

It doesn't have to be like basketball, and you said that it's not special when they score. The point isn't watching them score, it's seeing how they do it.

I anticipate a reply saying that in rugby, tries are few and far in between, but in the mean while there's big hits, crazy offloads and brilliant breaks, even if they don't end in scores.

I have tremendous respect for soccer as a sport-without having playing it more than 10 times. The stamina they need, the coordination, the vision-it's all so impressive. But as a spectator, nothing could be more boring. I hope you'll understand my one reason, for why I could never be a soccer fan.Anton Metalnikovhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03464110536992704673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13430685.post-66525819074785709732011-11-15T12:35:35.921-05:002011-11-15T12:35:35.921-05:00Great idea - I'll check it out.Great idea - I'll check it out.Cynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10554842712459943617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13430685.post-74758204720939369492011-10-17T00:46:17.835-04:002011-10-17T00:46:17.835-04:00I don't want to be like the rest of the world....I don't want to be like the rest of the world.
