Commuting love.

Stuck on the Westchester, 90 minutes late for a meeting due to an accident. Alice in Chains drowning out the idling semi next to me, it’s then I started to harken back to my commuting days of yore. This ranged from a 10 second walk to my basement studio all the way up to a CT > NJ two hour Dakar Rally – each way.

Flashback over, the line finally moves. Worse still, by the time you do get up to the accident scene, you always find just one DOT guy sweeping up some SpeedyDry and not much else going on. Now look, I don’t mind traffic jams, just don’t waste my time. Make me earn it. Sitting there for 45 minutes means I better see a head in the road, maybe even throw in an appartion or two. So...
