Sorry, every time the Daytona 500 comes around, Days of Thunder quotes resurface like poison ivy. Speaking of car insurance spots ...2 ...3 ...4 (Awkward segue almost over.) Check out these two Leo Burnett spots for All State insurance featuring NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne. A continuation of the original 2005 series. Couple two three things of note. First, Kasey’s no Peyton, but as typical spots featuring athletes go, these are better than the Tony Stewart/Home Depot spots. Second, while this is far from the serious VW ‘Safe’ series, I actually like that there’s a group of women driving around acting goofy and pulling pranks, (the trooper spot). They’re definitely more likable than the ‘I’m too uber cool for you’ girl posse in the BMW Film Suzuki spots. Lastly, it’s a little odd just having Dennis Haysbert’s VO only considering he’s in all the previous spots that I recall.
