Attention Senator Kruger:

Nice try. You can’t even enforce laws against people driving and talking on cell phones as it is.

How about some legislature that matters?

Like "Thou shalt not talk loudly on your cell phone in a quiet restaurant?"

Beyond true. I kid you not, I was just in Hollywood Video this afternoon and across the damn store I got Vinny ‘the Axe Bodywash’ on his phone yelling out plans for tonight:

"YO, I TOLD HIM ‘NICE PICK, SHE'S THE ONE’ OH YEAH, I GOTTA BE HOME BY 10 TONIGHT. LOST IS ON.”

I think the State Senator in question went to the Julie Roehm School of Publicity.

Amazing how this story is on practically every news outlet in the country, and plenty of others overseas.

I am frequently on a commuter train in and out of Manhattan and it always amazes me how some people can sit next to you, have a cell phone conversation and you barely hear them, while others are 2/3 of the way down the car and you can hear every word.

There's one conductor who won't put up with it. He's quite large and will hover menacingly over these "master of the universe" types and dis them in a way that only someone with the power to throw them off the train can.

Always makes my day.

This man should just retire and accept his BIG FAT pension, he is clearly losing it. What's next? Deaf people can't cross the street in NYC?
