Rock out ad bitches.

Oh sure, I could send you to another Flash game that takes up five, maybe six minutes of your day, but why? Especially when I can waste so much more of it. Check out Guitar World’s 100 Greatest Guitar Solos via City Rag. The top 20 video clips include everyone from Eddie to Stevie. And this is just me ruminatin’ on a Friday, but after watching the SRV clip, would’ve loved to have seen him and Jimi had they both lived play live just once. As Denis Leary said, “Stevie Ray’s dead and we can’t get Jon Bon Jovi into a helicopter?”

Sorry - 100 best guitar solos, but no "Buckingham Green" by Ween? The damn solo won "solo of the year" when it came out!

Blah.

Page and Clapton. Whatever. What a crock of crap. And McCready's solo in Yellow Ledbetter isn't even as good as the intro to the song. And to exclude Joe Perry's bridge solo in Train Kept a Rollin' - wait, that wasn't Perry, it was a studio musician brought in by the producer. Nevermind that.

But what about Do You Feel Like We Do from Before the Fall of Frampton? (Hating him is no longer in vogue as he won a Grammy this year.)

Or Brian May's work on Killer Queen.

Hendrix's "Instrumental Solo" from the Woodstock soundtrack.

Or Prince at the SuperBowl halftime show.

Or half a dozen Frusciante solos.

Or ANYTHING Luther Dickinson has ever played. Look him up.

This is why I hate Top 100 lists.

Man, I wish I were in England right now. I'd be saying "Wankers!" until 5 PM.

Looks like this list struck a chord.
