In a Move I’d Like to Forget, mommy bloggers, whose only real worries are their child’s latest picture or how many Google ads they can fit on their blogs, now have another place to hang out all day. I will say though that grabbing the domain name ‘family.com’ is a pretty good move on Disney’s part. Just remember boys and girls, no bad words. Only happy thoughts and cookie recipes. It’s Disney after all, where nothing bad ever happens.

It's Disney. And ABC. And ESPN. Right? They're taking great pains to say it's the Disney brand, not Disney-branded. It will be interesting to see if they can resist the pull of the Synergistic Cross Promotion.
Evidently the Dallas Morning News is also planning a whole new site with mom-oriented content. Mommies -- they must buy a lot, huh?
Only if Daddies make a lot.
