Cleveland rocks?

Ok, just got back from another voyage of self-discovery. Cleveland, you have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, VERY NICE! So tell me–why does radio in the rest of Ohio suck ass so bad? Throw in PA and NJ and you have an aural bloodbath hat trick. Call-in shows with docs on cellphones discussing vitamins? Eric Clapton’s Cocaine on one AM station? Religious shows on every FM station? The tractor report?

The Tipp City High School FFA would like you to stop making fun of tractor reports. Tractor reports -- along with pork bellies and soy bean futures -- are what makes this country great.

PERFECTLY acceptable in Texas. After all, you guys invented big. And farms. Big farms.

But Ohio... late at night... on I-80... when you’re trying to stay awake and you foolishly didn’t bring any CDs with you?

Not so much.

Tipp City is actually in Ohio, the rural part of the state where the only people who drive around late at night are cross-dressing volunteer firemen, failed college running backs and scared out-of-staters.

This is why American high school grad rates are low. I stand before you, embarrassed–and corrected.

But y’all still have some big-ass farms in Texas.
