New Orbit spot has Steve O from Jackass buried up to his neck in sand. Oh no, here comes the wave. Oh no, here comes sand. Oh no, zzzzzzzzzzzz. While no Altoids, I always liked the Orbit campaign, but this one didn’t feel like the usual gravity+wild beast+blindfold fun I expect from the Boys Gone Wild. Comes off like Jackass Lite® in a way. No pun, but it’s too clean. The outakes have more of the idiot gene missing from the actual spot. Now, take the ‘dolphins’ from the Vonnage beach spot, make them real sharks and throw Steve O out there for 10 seconds, then we’re talkin.Tags: Jackass, Steve O, Orbit
