Saw this PSA produced for the United Spinal Association with Mark Zupan addressing assholes who park in handicap spaces. Zupan is captain of the United States quadriplegic wheelchair rugby team and a Paraolympian. He’s also featured in Murderball, a great documentary worth renting that really shows what he goes through day to day.
Problem is, he’s crazy and fearless in the doc—which they borrowed its graphics and animation from—but forgot its attitude. This PSA is no bark, no bite. Not what you need to get through to clueless idiots. The lengthy description strategy/brief on YouTube aside, his flashback sequence should’ve included him and his friends ramming the shit out of the guy’s car, leaving him with a WTF just happened expression. Instead, the driver just kinda looks over and eventually ‘gets it’ and leaves.

Way to water down a concept. Love the edgy rock track in the background too.
