“But we really want this to be black, not like our regular black. Wait. What if we make it double black? It would be blacker, wouldn’t it. Plus, we could also charge more. Whoa, wait a sec. Now I’m thinking multiple synergistic product extensions starting with Double Clear–now with 50% more clear.”
What about instead doing an entire white/blank cover. Inside, “We used so much black in this new fragrance that we ran out.” Or something like that. (Copyrighters, feel free to finesse it, but don’t spend too much time on it. )

We're saving all the black for the new fragrance.
Only our new fragrance is worthy of the black. This ad gets nada.
It gotz all the blak, k thx bye.
Ours is so black, it's navy blue.
Once you go Double Black, you never, never go back.
They should have used a black guy for the ad. But then I guess they'd have to call it Polo Triple Black.
if they'd used a black guy for the ad, they'd also have to take off the 'Ralph Lauren' bit.
Actually, Anna Kate...
RL made extensive use of Tyson Beckford, who, last time I checked, was black.
It was pretty revolutionary for them about 5 years ago or so.
