OXY Nation, aka, badgers ARE cool.

Any site with talking badgers and little people on self-propelled mini-helicopters gets my attention. Developed by Cenergy Communications with help by Summit Projects, it has a cool sitemap doubling as house floorplan where you can visit each room and see what those young punks are up to these days. The iPod placement up front is also a no-brainer and nice fit, although I would have liked a tie-in with iTunes or Amazon to be able to purchase songs on the spot. Only other thing for me was the speed of the site which seemed at times to lag on my Mac.

Bill: You know, it's a nice site, kinda funny. I agree it would have been nice to be able to buy the songs and yeah, it lagged on my Mac too.

But here's my question : why would I go to this site?
Even if I were a teenage boy with zits.
There's nothing here for me.
Some songs I can't download.
A mildly amusing badger/dick joke.
And a lot of product sell but no discounts.

It all goes back to "Your Brand Is Not My Friend™"
Oxy is an advertiser. Not my favorite band. Not my buddy. It's a big brand of zit cream. And I don't really want to hang out with it.
