I too will be invited to speak at blogging conventions on topics ranging from ‘Blogging in pajamas vs. jeans: pros and cons,” “Blog rank: telling yourself you’re more important than people really think,” to “Blogging unions: the time is now.” (By the way, shouldn’t a blogging convention take place online?) So some bloggers want to form a union, basically for health benefits. Maybe instead they should focus on posting more than once a month. Both sides in the article however seem to be missing the point. For the anti-union crowd: you unionize to regulate the network of bloggers, not the content. For the pro-union crowd: forget dental and focus on a set of standards for blogs first. Too many out there vary widely in terms of user experience and nothing’s really been done to address that.
