The Church reaches out to kids.

“So we need something that speaks to the
kids in their lingo.”

“You mean, like, a video game with good vs. evil?”
“Not exactly”
“YouTube viral?”
“Not exactly”
“MySpace page?”
“Not exactly.”
“What then.”
“Well, we’re thinking a comic book for older kids, maybe a coloring book for the younger ones.”
“Ooookay. So, it’ll have superheros in it, good vs evil,
good guy wins, right?”

“Not exactly.”

We had to do a poster recently to attract men into the Catholic priesthood.

Well, not we as in me - other people here.

If only I had been in the meetings and had thought to use archangels as superheros.

:p

What you need is a daring comic to include two hot topics on everyone's tongues: immigration and homosexuality. That way you can deal with the tough issues, talk to new demographics and broaden the horizons.

My suggestion for a title for this book?

The Virgin Mario

Ps.: if you want to make it Super Mario to attract a younger audience, go for it :D
