Looks like one more nail in the theatre coffin. Jackass 2.5, will be released next week–but only online at blockbuster.jackass.com. While releasing it this way might seem like the equivalent of the typical straight-to-video tactic many studios have employed for years, this is the first time a major release of a franchise will be online for a limited time, then on to other outlets like iTunes.
