$400 for a beer? I don’t even want to know how much the pretzels go for.

You also gotta love a product with the heritage of the gods printed on every label:

“...the fables of Sif, wife of the Nordic god Thor.”

Indeed. Brewer Carlsberg made only 600 bottles at $400 each of Jacobsen Vintage No. 1, a barley wine billed as the most expensive beer in the world. The idea was to create an exclusive beer on par with a fine wine. Only thing, forget dropping by the local Liquor Barn for a six because it’s only available in Copenhagen

After a hard day at the steel mill, I like to enjoy a Jacobsen Vintage #1, because shit..... if I'm gonna have a beer, I want it made by a deity.
