Calling all McMixers: McDonald’s wants your remix of their classic jingle.



I’m spinnin’ it! McDonald’s is running a contest on MySpace for people to take the song jingle chant we know by heart “Two all beef patties...” and remix it, er, chant it off. Or something. Why, I was just discussing the lost art of jingles the other day. McMindReaders! You could have it appear on TV too. (Don’t ya just love marketing legalese that covers a brand?) You could also end up dating a Super Model. But first, ya gotta spin it to win it. Look at me throwin down rhymes!

Please. Mickey D’s is constantly asking people to create music for them. Ironically, the worst McTunes come from the ad agencies employed by the fast feeder.

Jingles.... anyone remember that scene in Demolition Man where that playboy woman plugger was singing the jolly green giant and that people in the future only listened to jingles??? It still scares the shit out of me.
