Little surprised that a convention pushing $120 million would settle for a house band. What, Bono or the Boss didn’t feel like lending a few songs for the week? Why not. They seem to lend them for everything else. Not that the band is bad, it just comes off as a little cheap, especially when Bill finishes his speech to the sounds of a Don’t Stop cover. RNC, please, spring for the dj. The Four Freshmen will suck as it is—I don’t need to hear a cover band playing them.
