Politics as usual? Yes, please. Have some!

One side fires. The other responds. Then the original other responds to the response...and so on. Obama gets pulled into the fray, probably right where McCain’s camp wants him. Not a bad strategy for McCain actually: Obama can’t discuss where he stands on the issues when he’s constantly backed into a corner defending himself. Conversely, McCain then never has to explain where he stands because he’s busying deflecting attention because he’s, um, attacking. It’s heartwarming though to see that we really did get a maverick and a different kind of politician. Oh well. The NFL starts soon so at least I’ll have something to keep my mind of the flat spin both campaigns can’t seem to break themselves out of.
