This freaks me out. Was driving into Northampton last year and getting off the highway into the town, I saw homeless people with signs, "Veteran. Will work for food. Looking for work, please hire me."
It's moments like those that make me realize that I live in a good country - Canada. Our welfare system may be too liberal but at least we can tell our homeless people to get off the streets and back it up.
Our homeless have other issues but at least in theory, they can eat and find shelter.
