“And it gets 4 mpg!”

If you can spot mpg, anti-lock brakes or handling anywhere in that ad, I’ll refund your money. Try using “140 mph” as a selling feature these days. Yep. Just what soccer moms want.

Note the careful phrasing, "a 140 m.p.h. speedometer." It never says the car goes that fast.

The headline is driving me crazy. Why is there a contraction? It seems like it should be "it is tougher."
