People dancing and singing.

It’s a spot in Greek, for Cosmote, from Bold Ogilvy. Everyone seems to be happy! Maybe they’re all that happy and all the exact same age in Greece, dunno. According to the release, the pay-off saysThe everyday as you see it’ and of course, a tagline: Cosmote. Our world is you. More fake fakery that looks like another Blockbuster/Netflix concept. *Yawn, sigh, yawn* So why am I phoning in this lackluster post? Because I just don’t care about this stuff, not to mention getting it from another agency that doesn’t give a shit about blogs beyond using them for PR releases. Can’t even use a name when they send stuff in, wtf. AND I HATE THAT FUCKING SONG.

i believe that in this gloomy harsh recession period its fun to watch people having fun!! and to be honest the song is not so bad

Not really sure it’s a feel-good song if you listen to it all the way through, and the lyrics don’t really encourage people to join together:

Everywhere is freaks and hairies

Dykes and fairies, tell me where is sanity

Tax the rich, feed the poor

Till there are no rich no more

Plus, I’ve heard it played to death for a long time. Other thing is, when I was listening to stuff in the 80s, stuff from the 40s meant nothing to me. Not really seeing how songs from a drug era like the late 60s/early 70s means anything to a 22-year old now.

even though it can be confusing i think that its cleverly built up in a way that you discover new things happening every single time you watch this. its smart that you need to see it more times. plus i really like the song and i think that kids from nowadays crave for the revival of classic staff.

I’m past the cgi love fest in this case just because it’s been done before. Netflix's series on monsters at a meeting was cooler.

As for snippets of songs being taken out of context for ads, that won’t end anytime soon, but I can dream.
