I just need another $2,700 to exploit the memory of 9/11.

While not as cool as $20 of nearly almost silver, this lovely Tiffany tray is one of many items that can carry your name into battle when The USS New York is commissioned in November. Tiffany provides silverware for many ships, but this one is special. Seven and a half tons of steel from Ground Zero are welded into the bow of the ship. The motto:

Strength Forged through Sacrifice: Never Forget

I don’t. That’s why I blog about this stuff. Something feels a little wrong though about companies that can have their names engraved like they were picking out corporate seats at Yankee Stadium using Navy ranks. (Complete list of sponsors here.) But hey, maybe it’s me.

There’s still time to get in on some flatware.

Come to my blog - all you need is less than $80 for this GREAT "exploit the memory" item ...

Tres affordable! (Pun intended)
