Um, is pop culture supposed to cannibalize itself this quickly?

I mean, computer speeds double every 18 months, but if we keep eating our references the way we have, at this rate we’ll have nothing left for the next generation. I give you... JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE AND BRITNEY SPEARS OPERA: TIMBERBRIT. And the video above is a montage of—can’t believe I’m writing this—the “work’s” themes, released ahead of the final production. It’s something that only the French or David Lynch could appreciate. I dare you to sit through it.

Please let this just be a twisted record label promotion for a future CD or something.
