Can’t we get rid of Aqua Velva?
They’re the Larry King of after shave spots: Just as old and about as interesting. The stuff they keep running is the what Wieden+Kennedy tore apart brilliantly with the revamped Old Spice and Bruce Campbell. There needs to be a mercy rule in advertising, where if you suck for 10 consecutive years, your TV ad license gets revoked. (In Wendy’s case I’d lower that to five.) Instead, Aqua Velva would be better off just running their old vintage stuff; its unintentional tongue-in-cheek vibe of the time would work today in much the same way Old Spice does.

Hmmm. Do you mean Old Spice? (I don’t use it btw), but, enlighten us with your brilliance, because your point makes no sense. Unless you work on the brand or for the agency behind the spot.
