Electric Googleland?

When I saw the Michael Jackson Edition Google logo, it was right after reading a story about how Sony Music Entertainment and Experience Hendrix L.L.C. will make all of Jimi’s music (including classics, never before heard archive recordings, and filmed concerts), available through every type of media.

Not sure what that entails beyond the typical music licensing that estates handle, but, might I suggest one type of media to try? Email Google and work their logo in. (Strat. Tuning pegs. Two oo’s? Flames coming off the G maybe?)

Of course, a Google-Hendrix version will set off an avalanche of requests from other bands. I’m not advocating a Blink 182 version either, just a little respect for a musician widely credited with influencing several generations of musicians who came after.

One who even got his own Google logo.
