The Dept. Of Justice announced that $5 million dollars in grant money will be made available for select communities to study the ways that “reduce the incidence and impact of children’s exposure to violence across the country.” On a related note, security for the DOJ trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has been estimated to run upwards of $200 million. While there isn’t a Terror Tykes Early Learning™ program established here—yet—maybe if we flipped that equation more, we wouldn’t have to spend so much on the back end next time.
