Is there a state where politicians don’t promise to change the way things have been done? Definitely not here in Connecticut. Good to see not much has changed in the Construction Constitution state since I was last here. Parastealing from Judge Haller in My Cousin Vinny, while it doesn’t have the same charm of say, secret, smoke-filled rooms and shady deals that other states have, what the Gateway to New England does have is every bit as sophisticated a system of corruption as they do in the rest of the country.
So vote Linda, early and often! Because she’ll bring an end to those smoke-filled backroom deals by lobbyists working on the inside. (That we don’t have here.) Wait, what?
