Kill your fridge.



And dishwasher. And anything else that may be an old and inefficient appliance. Philly’s power company PECO is telling people that it’s time to get rid of it all by using animated household things. Minor nit on the message, but if the original intent was to get people to act before a rate freeze of 2001 is up next year, these feel a little too passive to accomplish that. A rebate offer is nice, but don’t people tend to act with a deadline looming? (No, yeah, they do. That was a rhetorical.) Especially one that will cost them money if they miss it. And the PECO website could use a little video integration with these clips.
