Can jeans save a city?

Levi’s is helping Braddock, PA get back on its feet. So is their mayor. I’ve seen more than a few comments though tear the brand a new one though for applying this faux Americana ideal in a place as troubled as that city is. Before this ad, I’d seen a few spots by mayor John Fetterman where he too came under fire in trying to rebuild his city. Having seen both treatments now, Levi’s shoots heavy on the romantic notion of a lost blue collar dream, but it’s a damn sweet spot nonetheless, and it’s gorgeous as hell. Why not let them fix up a building or three. There’s worse things to do with your time.
