That’s what the lonely cowboy said to the bottle of red. HA. I know sometimes it’s a slow news day, but cowboys have an official wine? Yes. Not just any cowboy. Purple Cowboy wine is the official wine of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). (I’m all for going after a different demo, but wouldn’t Coors be all over this type of sponsorship?) Instead of using the words aeromatic and fruity, the story behind the wine is that the cowboys who worked the vineyards during the week would hit rodeos on weekend and drink wine so dark it made their teeth purple.
