Yikes. Watching this almost 7-minute collective rant from Liverpool FC fans regarding the potential sale of their club by current American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett, Jr., I tried to think if fans here had ever reacted this harshly over management decisions, but nope, nothing like this. Their attitude might not improve though given that the potential deal is not a definite yet. (Penalty kicks to decide!) American fans have seen their own share of broken promises and misery, right down to owners who move teams in the middle of the night, or who trade fan favorites. Although it’s a different sport, the pride Liverpool fans show is the same of that by fans in other countries. I suppose the closest thing we have would be the Knicks. Fans would agree that Dolan & Co. should step down given what he’s done with the franchise. Spike could even direct the video.
