Not your dad’s pong.

I saw this Quaser Touch on an iPad and thought as a simple game it’s elegantly designed. (An inverse of the classic asteroids where protecting the center counts most.) It’s also a nice touch-driven approach to playing even though yes, touch is inherent in the iPad’s design. In just five years, the gaming industry has undergone major changes in terms of how players interact. Joysticks ruled for decades and now wireless controllers and Wii are giving way to touchscreens. It’s a Minority Report future, now. GET YOU SOME.
