Someone has to keep poking BP in the eye. *raises hand* Bridge the Gap is a community-based organization working with the Gulf Coast Fund to gather stories of the people most affected by the BP oil spill. The well may be capped, but when you listen to some of the Atakapa-Ishak tribe in Grand Bayou, Louisiana talk about it, their wetlands never had a chance to recover after Katrina before this latest round of problems hit. The slow response, chemicals dispersants and lack of follow-up contribute to their ongoing effort to keep fronm losing what good areas they have left. Spill here, spill now.
