The ancient Greeks were Lego freaks.
At first I thought Apple must not be doing enough to keep their engineers interested, but after seeing this recreation of the Antikythera Mechanism, okay, it’s pretty damn cool. Andrew Carol took time off from his day job in Cupertino to help recreate an ancient Greek machine that predicts astrological events – using Legos. Why not – they’ve built the Parthenon out of them. But score for Lego here as well in the self-promo department though. Maybe next they’ll be making nuclear reactors out of them... that actually work.
