Swallow fail.



It’s a long way for Actionaid to go here in making the point about poverty and companies like Grolsch owner SABMiller who allegedly avoid their tax burdens. The pitch I received actually sums up the whole point that the video was aiming for:

“They’re the world’s second biggest brewer, making profits of £2 billion, with headquarters just off Park Lane. The taxes they dodge in Africa could put an extra 250,000 children in school there. When big companies dodge their taxes, ordinary people end up paying more. That’s why ActionAid is committing itself to schtop tax dodging.”

Stunts outside corporate help though, no?
