Detroit to DC: “We’re sorry—pray for us.”

Well that’s a different approach than “Check out the improved cargo room!” While others were praying for a miracle donation loan, GM issued a letter today saying they’ve basically let consumers down with lackluster products. Sounding more like an internal memo to legal than a heartfelt mea culpa to the American public, GM wants you to know they’re still focused on “...delivering personal mobility freedom to Americans using the most advanced transportation solutions.” I’m fine with that. Just as long as they keep giving me plasma tailgate options.
