Dot com is taken. How about dot biz!

At the end of my soccer rant, I listed the sports that are more established than soccer: football, baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, tennis, NASCAR, and bowling. In looking up all their websites, I discovered one more kick in the nuts for the beautiful game: Major League Soccer is the only professional sport among that group without a url that’s also the same as the abbreviation of that particular league. Unless you have deep pockets, you aren’t getting the url you want, and likely, you’ll have to settle for an iteration of your company name which may be less than you expected. So the result is that you have the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, PGA, PTA, NASCAR, PBA and... MLS—the Multiple Listing Service?

Oh.

When you can’t even grab your own domain? Bad things man. Bad things.
