Die SNL, die.

Not much else to do Saturday night except check out how spectacularly unfunny the show is now. I think the Logan’s Run law should be invoked in this case: all shows over 30 years old should just be eliminated in a circular lightshow of death.

And yet like a dog returning to its vomit, I tune in on Saturdays hoping for a giggle. They don't come.

this past saturday's episode with jeremy piven was pretty funny, actually. you cant expect everything from SNL to be great. you need to take away 2 or 3 highlights and realize that they are still more current and funnier than any other comedic show out there.

anon - Piven is always great, but trust me, I’ve lowered my expectations from wanting a 4-for-5 night with 2 HRs and 3 RBIs to simply leaning in and getting hit by a pitch every now and then. Sorry, it just feels too forced now. Like every time someone reads a line, they're waiting to see if the audience should laugh.

But funniest? Hmmm. Gotta disagree there too. Chapelle re-runs, the Soup, Mind of Mencia, Starveillance, Reno-911, Mad TV, Drawn Together, any reality show with Gary Busey and even 30-Rock are all funnier.

Logan's run traumatized me for years! I can't believe you just mentioned it. Now I won't be able to sleep tonight....:-)

Colbert and Stewart are consistently funny - night after night. This season is as bad as the ones that were produced by Dick Ebersol.

The mere mention of Dick Ebersol is funnier than 98% of SNL over the past decade. I like Kristin Wiig, though. She should go get a good job.
