Fox launches conservative comedy show.

After watching this clip of Joel Surnow’s ‘The 1/2 Hour News Hour,’ I hereby take back what I said about the American version of The Office. Steve Carell, you’re my hero. (via Drudge.)

Ack. Is that a real show?? That was terrible. Come on, conservatives, make with the funny. We know you've got it in you somewhere.

Come on Bill. The NBC version of The Office has come into its own.

Even Gervais likes it. Enough that he actually wrote one of the episodes this season.

Don't turn into one of those affected "I hate everything associated with the suburban America I grew up in" snobs who won't go to malls or drink Starbucks or admit that Steve Carrell is actually funny.

Toad, it's not like that. I love malls. I also saw the UK version first and the American version just lacks the subtly of Gervais and his expressions. Some people just like Sammy Hagar, others David Lee, what can I say.

;-p

I want to give this new show a chance. After all, haven't we all given SNL the benefit of the doubt through some pretty dark times? However, I'm not sure 10 p.m. Sundays is a sweet spot for this. Gotta say though that I saw another clip on the tube today -- Rush Limbaugh was president with Coulter as VP. I don't think it was written funny.

I thought the clip was hilarious!

People are just used to listening to liberal comedians, so when a conservative comedians comes around, they are either labeled as not funny or racist. A politically incorrect comedy site called ourcountry.com is trying to do same thing. You should check them out too.
