But wouldn’t the flames melt the ice cream?
Just checking. (That’s part of my duties as part of advertising’s internal affairs division.) Don’t include me as part of the YouTube crowd who thinks this latest DQ spot is LMAO/LOL funny. Is there an acronym yet for annoying out loud?

I declare you to be wrong.
My MSHI* is pretty high - so I found this one funny - though not as funny as the orignal where the guy is eating at his desk and catches the whole office on fire.

Hey, and I love flames. You're talking to a guy who in High School was eyebrow and forearm hairless for monthes, the result of lifting the grill lid too quickly.
But I couldn't get past their annoying breathing-in sounds. Guess I now know why everyone around me was so pissed every time I would do that.
;-p
I thought it was pretty funny too. The MSHI is definitely pretty high on it.
Sometimes, a spot can do everything wrong -- but if you laugh, it's a good spot.
This is one of those.
Sorry man, I dissent.
Ok, I figured it out. You know howthere are movies you won’t watch just because a certain actor is in it that you hate? No matter how good the story is or how good the director, etc. It’s like that with that sound in this spot. I can’t get past it.
And I like blowing shit up. I wanna endorse those flames, I really do.
I, I just can’t people. I looked inside my heart.
The breathing-in-while-talking is quite annoying... but then the flames and screaming make up for it. I only like the second half.
I like how no one else in the room notices that flames are shooting out of their mouths.
I like the flames. In fact, why not recut the spot starting at just the flames?
TIV- There is one person behind the guy who notices the orgy of flames.
I know exactly what you mean about the DQ work. It's always on the wrong side of funny. Something too facile, something kinda not-even-good-enough-for-a-low-rated-sitcom-on-the-CW-network about them.
I believe there is a problem with continuity; the woman sitting behind them quickly leans forward in reaction to the fire breathing, but a second or two later she has the exact same posture as she had before the flames ensued.
