Only rock stars are rock stars.

Hj sent in this article about rock stars really being the only ones who can get away with trashing hotel rooms. You mean list managers at GeekCon 2007 can’t have some fun too?

"Rockstar" has lost its meaning - even as the term applies to music celebs. Take Justin Timberlake for example. A star, for sure, but that article deems him a rockstar. I've heard Jay Z referred to as a rockstar.

It has come to mean anyone with some fame and power - hence Julie Roehme being considered as such.
