Spot the cliches.






I wish I had banner blindess to gloss over this one, but alas, my fate is to notice shit like this banner when I went to dictionary.com for a random search. So let’s count the stereotypes: 1) Father out of his baby mama life, 2) Young independent African American woman trying to make it on her own raising angry child, but is 3) Barely living paycheck to paycheck so we just have to assume she has ‘bad credit,’ and oh, 4) That ‘snappy’ color scheme. I miss anything? Or maybe I’m reading into things too much.

Plus what's with the how-do-we-spell-PayDay-again thing? And the arbitraty caps?
