I love the way old-time copy was written. There's something about the tone, the empathy with the reader, that's missing today.

For real.

I mean of course it sounds corny in 2007, but I like to imagine that back in 1957 it captured the zeitgeist.

(And yeah, just saying "zeitgeist" back in 1957 could probably get you on some sort of blacklist, but still...)
