If your brand doesn’t, I’m not sure that’s such a bad thing these days. Peyton, Peyton, Peyton. Dude, really. Take a break. The DSRL now? I’m surprised the milk people didn’t try and get in on this with Oreo. This time, he enlists the rest of his family too. (Although mom does show some comedy chops.) Nothing against the brand for wanting to do a tie-in–the site is well-produced. Nothing against his acting–he’s one of the funniest athletes doing commercials. But Brand Peyton is seriously overshadowing everything it appears in now, even the brother here who’s trying to establish a name in his own right. And looking at the clip where he’s asked what DSRL is, sure seems like even Peyton doesn’t believe he got talked into this. Who knows, maybe Oreo money was just too hard to resist.

Mom is kinda funny in that spot, and I like how they gave Eli the line about “are you sure about this?” as if questioning Peyton’s never-quenched desire to shill for anyone. Peyton is funny, but he ain’t going to the SuperBowl, much to the dismay of all the programmers and NFL brass, who desperately wanted a “rematch” – and desperately wanted NE to win it. Fuck ‘em all. You got stuck with the Chargers. And now everyone acts as though this game is a mere and minor speed bump on the way to coronation as the Country’s First Team Caught Cheating to Win a Super Bowl.
Yeah, Charger Nation in FL is flying high now. I like Green Bay though.
