Slow news day? No. I just like discovering new stuff about things you thought you knew all there was to know. Beal Moore was one of the engineers involved in the Apollo 13 crisis. He lives a few towns over from mine. According to an interview he recently gave, turns out there were plans for one of the three astronauts to take one for the team so that the other two might survive on the remaining oxygen. Nobody knows who it was, nor has their identity been publicly acknowledged. But Beal and the others there that day know. Freaky brave shit.
I will never complain about driving to Hollywood Video in the rain again.
