So I did bad things this weekend. No, not like There Will Be Blood or No Country For Old Men bad things, but like, eating nastily. Road trip early Saturday morning forced me to stop at the Golden Arches. Couldn’t help it. 8:04 am we place the order. (A #10 consisting of two sausage burritos, hash browns and an orange juice.) Mmmm. Wait. What? Good until 9:30 am? It was crunchy now. What’s it gonna be like in t-minus 90? OF course there’s more. Later at the school event we attended and needing a beverage of the liquid variety, preferrably cold, I donated $2 to the local satellite office of the Pepsi Foundation. (Don’t hate, I heard they’re doing good things for kids these days.) Mmmm. Freshness dated for your safety and... what’s this? November 2007? Mmmm squared. But maybe the printing was wrong. Could happen. Uh ... no. ’twas as fresh as you’d expect it wasn’t.
So that’s why I like freshness dating.
