No, not on their election coverage, but a Fox report that apparently caused Grand Theft Auto 4 promotional ads to be yanked in Chicago. This is more about responsibility than censorship, although you could make the case for the latter. Too many times I post shit about brands and wonder “what were they thinking” when stuff like this gets put up. Yeah, most of this material is already scheduled to run, so Take-Two Interactive probably didn’t intentionally try and take advantage of a recent wave of shootings there— but they didn’t shy away from it either and voluntarily pull the ads themselves. But, should they have? Would you have? Vote early and often!
