NOLAF. If a chimp had friends ... and a computer.

Sometimes, okay most times, my job when I’m not doing the stuff, is to find other stuff and then, well, pass that stuff along. So here’s me doing that: NOLAF, a site that James found. Does it measure up to the current standard of usable, value-add websites that do more than just offer new ways to kill time? Absolutely not. The only value-add here is funny, and last time I looked, we still had that in this country mister. It’s funny even if you don’t think it is.

UPDATE: Lori also points out the actor is
Scott Parkin. She rightfully notes his performance. This is a perfect example of great writing with great execution, especially the way he answers the seminar questions. Anon in the comments also noted that Element 79 lost the business after this, but I don’t know what that was due to. (Face it, when the USA Today Fadmeter can torpedo an agency these days, fuck, anything’s possible.) Regardless, I’ll take this over “Good things happen at the Tostitos” because this to me is as good as W+K’s Old Spice work.

This was produced by Element 79 in Chicago, just prior to losing the account. Guess they’re not laughing anymore.

i think this site is excellent. i must have spend 10 minutes here.

it is funny and not crazily branded.

too bad element 79 lost the account after this gem.

Didn't mean to imply at all that this effort contributed to Element 79's loss; rather, it demonstrates that reassignments often have little to do with the produced work.

@anon-Yep. It wouldn't surprise me though that a brand would yank business over creative they didn’t like. Wouldn’t be the firswt time.
