A she and a she?

The shame! The shame! (It’s the issue of Social Security discrimination against LGBT Americans. While the piece takes too long to get to its point, it at least makes it clear at the end about the denial of benefits that same-sex couples experience. Further underscored by the counter on the Rock For Equality website depicting how much has been denied since 2000. One thing I take away is that the campaign could’ve been better at explaining what Rock is all about. You think music benefit, but no. Rocking chair protest? Uh, sorta. It’s a 1-mile walk in LA tomorrow (4/11) to the steps of the Social Security building culminating with a sit-in. Rock on.
