"These are your lungs on cigarettes."
Well, *THAT'S* appetizing. The Massachusetts Tobacco Cessation and Prevention Program has proposed a plan for Massachusetts to require retailers selling tobacco products to display graphic warning posters. Mmmm. Can’t wait! (The one above is from New York’s anti-smoking efforts which Massachusetts is modeling theirs after.) Canada though has been doing the graphic package thing for some time. Does it work? Don’t ask me, ask a former smoker. Although, this opens up all kinds of possibilities for other products. The American Heart Association showing the effects of too much junk food perhaps?
